SESSION 1: Better breathing for a better back

This eye-opening session shows you exactly how past injuries, pain and stress often alters breathing habits, contributing to your back problems. Even if your breathing feels fine, it may not be ideal. This powerful lesson will tune you into what you do and fine-tune your automatic breathing habits. The payoff is your ability to relax tense back muscles to reduce discomfort and recover useful back motion. This session delivers the added benefit of enhancing your lung’s vital capacity too.

SESSION 2: Change from unhealthy to healthy sitting, for a better back

In 2013, the American Medical Association put out a statement, calling sitting a “disease”, contributing to common maladies. Without knowing, how a person sits generally accelerates wear and tear to common spine disorders. You’ll develop novel sitting skills and practical learning that improves the health of your disc, ligaments, and bones of your spine. This will have an automatic outcome to a long lasting feel better & healthier spine!

SESSION 3: Look and feel better with healthy standing habits

Studies show less than ideal standing posture increases our risk for a fall. Get a quick check-up to see for yourself and then if so, how to overcome. Our standing image can also age us. Experience the cumulative benefits from the first 2 sessions  that assists further refinement of your standing habits. This results in a positive and permanent results for more comfortable & longer standing. For some, this is an important means for more comfortable distances of walking further too.  

SESSION 4: Core Strength that protects your back

Equipment or calisthenics such as sit-ups aren't as effective as basic foundation skills to regain core strength. Over time, these muscles lose their ability to work properly so that your back is at risk with daily bending, lifting, carrying or even just swinging a tennis or pickle ball racket. As a consequence, your body suffers micro-trauma and acceleration to your spine’s degenerative condition. Learn & practice practical and effective ways to regain this strength and reverse further spine wear and tear.

SESSION 5: Getting up/down from sitting – why a problem for our backs?

The average person gets up and down from sitting 45x a day. When you start to lose leg power, this repetitive action becomes less than ideal. This cumulative motion puts adverse stress on your spine’s disc, muscles and vertebra. This is especially problematic when you have a degenerative spine condition.

Here, you’ll learn a skillful path to get up/down more efficiently and effectively. Progress your leg power without knee joint or back stress.  Overcome further progression to disc, arthritis, spinal stenosis or osteoporosis problems!

SESSION 6: Better balance to a better back

This session is significant because it overcomes the leg differences in strength you didn’t realize you had. The positive consequence is longer & more comfortable standing and walking further. If you have a history of sciatica, hip, knee or ankle problems, you’ll experience the difficulty and then learn the steps to resolve it. Once you practice the skills of this high value exercise, it will be a life changer for your back & balance!

SESSION 7: From your environment to daily/weekly chores and more

Accumulation of everyday actions is a primary contributor to episodic and more serious chronic back problems. This is a great class for surprising tips and strategies that will give you a healthier and better feeling back. This is an important dive into learning more of the right and less of the wrong, w/practical ways to gain a healthier spine & body.

SESSION 8: Flexibility – results to overcome stiffness & discomfort

Discomfort and daily movement habits start to change how we move our different body part; a big reason for our loss of flexibility. Losing the natural connection of our moving body parts is a big reason why we feel or look older. Different from what you've learned previously, you'll discover subtle but practical ways that will help you in this area.
